About this product
The Wilson Fat Shaft driver features a 10.5° titanium head with a distinctive thick graphite shaft design aimed at improving accuracy. The regular flex Grafalloy shaft and 45-inch length cater to moderate swing speeds. Includes a headcover. This right-handed men's driver is pre-owned and offered at a very affordable price point.
Our take
Picked up the Wilson Fat Shaft driver for something different, and it's a forgiving club. The oversized shaft really does reduce twisting on off-center hits—I noticed fewer slices. The regular flex feels smooth, and the 10.5° loft launches high. It's not the longest driver I've used, but it's consistent. The titanium head looks dated but performs fine. Comes with a headcover. For $36, it's a steal for a backup or beginner club. My main gripe is the lack of adjustability, but at this price, you can't complain.
